Michael Franti and Spearhead took Red Rocks to the east and to the west, as the song goes, and made a very happy audience. His infectious smile and incredibly positive message make him a major draw of all ages and this show was no exception. I must say, if Franti ran for office, I bet he would win. He has that ‘hug your grandma & kiss a baby’ type charisma that people can’t help but love. I was happy to be present to capture it.
