This band is appropriately named with pedal steel monster, Robert Randolph, leading the charge and supported by his cousin Danyel Morgan, on bass; his brother Marcus Randolph, on drums; and his sister Lenesha Randolph, on vocals. This whole group was tied together by the only non-family member, Brett Andrew Haas, on guitar and keyboards. I bet Brett gets nervous when a Randolph family member takes guitar lessons, but that is another conversation for another day. I thoroughly enjoyed their set, and found myself dancing around as I shot it. This was a double bill with blues great Buddy Guy, who the band supported. In my opinion, the event was a bit backward. The much younger Randolph had the audience dancing more then the following set did, which was a bit anticlimactic.
