Galactic & Monophonics 2/16/13

The Ogden Theatre was host to New Orleans’ own veteran funk band, Galactic, but they did not leave anything back in the Big Easy! They were supported by San Francisco’s own up and coming, energy-charged, soul-driven band, the Monophonics. The pairing was brilliant and made for an action packed evening from the first note to the last. I was on assignment for Listen Up Denver! to capture the evening while Brian Turk wrote another masterful review.
