Jerry Joseph and the Jackmormons took residency at Cervante’s Other Side for a 2 night run of shows on June 19th and 20th. Unfortunately, I could only attend the latter of the two. Having since listened to the recording from both nights, I am sure I missed the smoker. But, this crew is nothing short of awesome even when forced to live up to the high bar set by themselves. Jeff Crosby and the Refugees opened the show and then joined the Jackmormons during the entire second set. The audience was a good mix of faithful and fair weather fans, but they all left with the common look of astonishment on their faces. To sweeten the whole deal, Jon O’Leary mixed the house sound and had the place sounding excellent, another reason why your band sounds better when playing in Denver! Below are links to the recordings of both nights, and images from the 20th to enjoy while you dig the tapes recorded by Eric Foelske. Thanks for taping, sir!
