Railroad Earth (RRE) played a 3-day run at the Ogden Theatre, and I was there to photograph the finale. From all accounts and judging by ticket sales, the run was a smashing success. RRE played a tight performance that was complimented by a quality light show. The entire production was top notch. Having seen this band play much smaller venues over the years, it was a joy to see them play such a fine venue. But this is certainly not the roof for this rising star. I really enjoyed the concert and look forward to their first headlining Red Rocks show this summer. Congrats to them on this achievement. Big thanks to Stacy for making this night happen!
Opening for RRE was The Congress, one of Denver’s hottest native bands, and they really set the bar high. The entire place was blown away with their tenacious groove and old school rock and roll vibe. Between Scott Lane’s display of musical chops, Jonathan Meadows stunning vocals, and Mark Levy’s melodic rhythms, the audience was loving it. In order of performance, the first slideshow is The Congress and the second is Railroad Earth. Enjoy the photos!
