Ever since I first dipped my feet in the water of Denver’s fluid music scene I have been impressed by not just the amount of fish in the pond, but more over the quality game. No matter what genre you gravitate toward you will find depth and chops that few music communities can even pretend to have, and this event outlined that fact. Having done this twice before, the Revenge of the 90’s production crew & cast has become a well oiled machine that delivered a first class night of entertainment. As a 30 something, like many in attendance, each song was a stroll down memory lane. Not only was every song a surprise selection, but also was the performers bringing it to the well attended audience on hand.
I was on assignment for Listen Up Denver!, a co-promoter of the event with J2G, and was so glad to be there and archive the evening. Thank you Denver, I am eternally grateful to belong to such a vital living music scene that brings such vibrant artist all together like this. I truly love this place and all the parts that comprise it.
