Umprey’s McGee has one of the fastest growing fan bases in their genre of music today. Their ability to crossover from music styles mid song makes them palatable to a massive range of music lovers, and they seem to seal the deal by blending it all together with their own unique style of syncopated jammed out rock-n-roll. In my opinion, they play cover songs better than anyone in the biz and, to sweeten the tea, they had Railroad Earth come out with them for their first (of 3 encores!) encore to play a wicked cover of Led Zeppelin’s epic Kashmir, a real treat for sure.
This show was shot for the band, and you can see mine, and other great photographers’ work, on their site here: http://www.umphreys.com/home/images.php?showId=2060
